➔ RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNOLOGIES (RGUKT) is also known as AP - IIIT (Indian Institute of information technology) -- catering to the Educational Needs of Gifted Rural Youth of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

        Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies was established in the year 2008 under an act of Ap Legislature.

At first there were only 3 institutions under this university which are in Nuzvid, Basar and R.K.Valley but now our RGUKT family got bigger and 2 more institutions were established.

    RGUKT offers Undergraduate degrees in various technnical branches to merit students.

RGUKT is a state-funded institution located in 

1. IIIT Nuzid,
2. IIIT Basar (Telangana Campus),
3. R.K.Valley,
4.IIIT Ongole,
5. IIIT Srikakulam.

    Rgukt is educational system is based on learning by doing, by which students can help themselves to become great engineer. RGUKT is a university with high infrastructure, well-equipped labs, a resourceful library and greenish scenery.
It is the AUTONOMOUS prestigious institute of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states... the primary objective of forming these universities is to provide quality and informative education to many of the students who are mainly interested to become their best. For many of the middle class, rural people and the students from govt schools from all over the Telugu speaking states... feel this
the golden opportunity is really (boon) in their lives,... By AIMING upon this main motto “enlightenment of intellectual minds”. Our government started this most prestigious project to bring thousands of smiles on the faces of poor intellectuals.......

➔ As we know many of our INDIAN students are engaged under several works due to lack of money and uncertain poor conditions ... to eradicate these situations and to bring a massive change in the lives of poor..our government in April 2007, taken this tremendous decision with a huge soft corner on the rural intellectual youth of TELUGU states.

➔ RGUKT Is different from other colleges..while other universities are only
working for their development. But, IIIT is working for the accomplishment and the RIGHTEOUSNESS of rural youth..really the students with merit minds are born to be lucky for enjoying such services from the government. Exam patterns are different from other colleges which will enable students to understand every topic and learning than fully depending on weights and preparing blindly. In other colleges from junior colleges only students have to go through so many coachings etc,... to get good rankings which will enable them to get a seat in prestigious universities. But in our RGUKT from the pre-university program we are guided to acquire or gain knowledge through doing things.
